Polyacetal

MetaPOM® is the brand name of  Surlon India for its range of polyacetal products, also known as polyoxymethylene (POM) or acetal. This engineering thermoplastic is characterized by its high mechanical strength and rigidity, excellent dimensional stability, and low coefficient of friction. It offers exceptional wear and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications. With high resistance to creep and fatigue, low moisture absorption, and excellent chemical resistance, MetaPOM® Polyacetal is a versatile material used across various industries for its reliability and performance.

MetaPOM- Polyoxymethylene or Acetal is a versatile engineering plastic with excellent machinability, low moisture absorption, high stiffness, and outstanding mechanical strength and dimensional stability. Its crystalline, highly ordered molecular structure provides high crystallinity, fatigue resistance, and reliable performance for precision components.
