This high-performance thermoplastic material is a 30% glass fiber reinforced PolyEtherEtherKetone (PEEK) that offers exceptional strength and durability. It is a semi-crystalline material available for injection molding components and extruded shapes. This material is ideal for applications that require higher strength in a static system, as well as a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Additionally, it is chemically resistant to aggressive environments and suitable for sterilization, making it a great choice for medical and food contact applications. The glass fiber reinforcement provides enhanced mechanical properties, making it a reliable choice for demanding applications

Main Characteristics

High temperature performance – Suitable for continuous-use temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). Glass transition temperatures up to 170°C (338°F)

High wear resistance – Low coefficient of friction. High abrasion and cut-through resistance.

Mechanical strength and dimensional stability – High strength and stiffness in demanding conditions. Excellent long-term creep and fatigue properties.

Resistance to harsh chemicals – Withstands a wide range of acids and bases and shows excellent performance in hydrocarbons and organic solvents. Excellent hydrolysis resistance

High electrical integrity – Consistent properties across a range of frequencies and temperatures. Insulating, conducting and static dissipative materials.

High purity & bio inert – Resistance to gamma and electron beam radiation as well as transparent to X-rays.

Exceptional Flammability performance- resisting combustion up to 600°C. Even when ignited at extremely high temperatures, it self-extinguishes and produces minimal smoke.
