WFM
METALON® WFM is a proprietary cast nylon 6 formulation containing solid lubricant additives which grant this material self-lubricity, excellent frictional behaviour, superior wear resistance and outstanding pressure-velocity capabilities [up to 5 times higher than conventional cast nylons]. Being particularly suited for higher velocity, unlubricated moving parts applications it is the perfect complement to the oil-filled grade. Metalon WFM offers substantially improved the wear resistance compared to that of any other lubricated grades of cast nylon, whilst retaining excellent physical property characteristics. Due to its high PV capabilities, the material is particularly suited for dry running bearing applications throughout a wide load, speed and temperature range (up to 120ºC).
