Metron PPS family of materials is a range of semi-crystalline polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), heat-resistant polymer that exhibits a simple chemical structure comprising benzene and sulfur. Metron PPS is designed to fill the performance and price gap between standard thermoplastics and high-end engineering plastics. By offering a balance of properties and cost, Metron PPS provides an attractive alternative to high-end materials like PBI, PI, PAI, and PEEK, which may be too expensive. This makes Metron PPS an ideal choice for applications where a high-performance material is needed at a competitive price

Polyphenylene sulfide is a semi-crystalline, high- performance thermoplastic combining hightemperature resistance, chemical inertness, inherent flame retardancy, and excellent electrical insulation. Its aromatic rings linked by sulfur atoms form a flexible, robust backbone, providing thermal stability, chemical resistance, and reliable mechanical and electrical performance across demanding applications and harsh environments.
